Yoga Classes Guide
A challenging yoga class but still accessible to most people, a reasonable level of general fitness is required, not suitable for anyone with injuries or back/joint issues. Class focuses around building strength in a balanced way, incorporating the full body.
Yoga for Relaxation
A gentle class, integrating mind body and spirit. Longer relaxation practices use movement as meditation and integrating breath with posture. Suitable for all ages and abilities.
A Yoga class suitable for everyone, modifications are always offered where needed. Covers a full range of asanas and introduces the concept of Yoga.
A fast, flowing athletic styled class, suitable for those who want a more demanding and physical practice that will challenge and increase strength, stamina and flexibility.
An introduction to the faster athletic style of vinyasa (see above for description) with more breaks and demonstrations.
Gentle Yoga class, no previous experience or fitness required but you need to be able to get onto your knees, stomach and back up again.
Like beginners but starting to add greater flow and movement with a little more physical effort required. Some knowledge of the Yoga basics is desirable, suitable for all ages looking to stretch, relax and gain more movement and strength.
You don’t need to have any previous experience of Ashtanga but will need to be physically able and have an open mind. Ashtanga is often described as the most athletic and physically demanding form of Yoga. This practice can produce quite a sweat and you may want to invest in your own mat, or bring along a large towel.

Pilates Classes Guide
Beginners & Improvers Matwork
Gentle class, suitable for complete beginners as well as those who wish to improve their Pilates technique at a slower pace. You will learn the basic principles of Pilates, posture, body awareness and connecting your mind and body.
The pace of the class is slightly faster than beginners and will flow from one exercise to the next. Some experience of Pilates is necessary. This class bridges beginner to intermediate level and some intermediate exercises will be included.
A more challenging Pilates class with the emphasis on flowing movements, you should have reasonable body awareness and an understanding of the basic Pilates principles. Modifications will be offered where necessary for the more challenging exercises.
Suitable for postnatal women who have had their 6-week check after a natural birth and 10 week check after a C-section. Women are very welcome to bring their babies (pre-crawling). Focus will be on pelvic floor education and re-introducing movement and exercise to the body.
Suitable for women who are 14+ weeks into pregnancy with no upper limit. Safe and effective exercise for pregnant women, the class includes suitable exercises for different stages of pregnancy, pelvic floor education and relaxation and breathing techniques.
Taught as an intermediate level class, this fast flowing class generates heat in the body and uses a range of Pilates studio equipment such as, Refomer Machine, Pilates Arc, Pilates Chair, Ladder Barrel, Pilatessticks, and small equipment such as small and large balls, weights, magic circle and bands.
Barre & Stretch
A Pilates themed class using ballet barres as props for stretching and strengthening moves, hand weights are often used in class but the main focus is around the lower body, giving the core, legs and glutes a tough workout.
