Vicky Rees

Pilates Instructor

I’m the Principal Pilates Teacher at Health Hub and Studio 21. I’ve been teaching Pilates since 2008, my first experience was a beginners matwork class at my gym, and after that first class I was hooked, in all my years of exercise it was like nothing I had ever know before.

I trained with Body Control Pilates in London and a year later opened my own studio in Yarm. I teach all levels of matwork classes, 1:1’s and Pilates equipment sessions, from complete beginners to advanced. The Reformer is my favourite machine it’s so versatile. I also teach with Pilatessticks, the Pilates Arc and use all types of small equipment in my classes.

I specialise in working with athletes and have worked with Olympic and Commonwealth Champions in rowing and swimming. I currently work with the Under 18’s and Senior team at Middlesbrough Football Club. I like to stay active and believe in balanced training, I complement my Pilates practice with Yoga, playing netball for Grangetown at national club level and CrossFit.

I think that everyone can benefit from the Pilates method and I look forward to helping you in the future.
