TRAINEE LASER THERAPIST
WORKING HOURS: FULL-TIME HOURS AVAILABLE, ALTHOUGH PART/TIME JOB SHARE APPLICANTS WILL ALSO BE CONSIDERED
SALARY: £12 P/H (£23,088 P/A) DURING THE INITIAL TRAINING PERIOD; ASSOCIATE LEVEL SALARY TO BE NEGOTIATED FOLLOWING COMPLETION OF TRAINING.

In this exciting new role, you will work under the direction of our lead osteopath and clinical director to utilise the power of cutting-edge cold laser technology to help clients heal and manage symptoms arising from musculoskeletal conditions, injury, and diabetes.
Experience is not essential as all training will be provided once in post. However, evidence of relevant work experience or employment within a healthcare/complementary therapy/ gym setting and evidence of motivation to work in the industry will be looked upon favourably.
A uniform will be provided, and the successful applicant will benefit from free osteopathy and sports therapy treatments.

Role Description
- Deliver laser therapy treatments to healthhub clients under the direction of our lead osteopath and clinical director.
- Document the client laser therapy journey from the first appointment, producing basic (i.e., using a phone) high-quality video and photo content to do this (these will subsequently be used for marketing purposes)
- Light administrative duties include managing clinic appointments and responding to client enquiries.
Person Specification
Essential
- GSCE Maths and English at Grades 9-4 (Former Grade A*-C)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A genuine desire to help people.
- Confident and happy in dealing with the public.
- Positive attitude - reliable, conscientious, and eager to learn.
- Willingness to be flexible to accommodate the practice's needs at any given time.
- Confident in taking basic high-quality (i.e., using a phone) photos and videos for marketing purposes/ social media.
- Confident and comfortable directing/featuring in basic videos about laser therapy for marketing purposes.
Desirable
- A relevant Level 3 (A-Level/ BTEC) qualification (for example, Human Physiology, Biology, Anatomy, Sports Science, Health and Social Care, Massage Therapy)
- Relevant experience can be voluntary, work experience or employment within a healthcare/complementary therapy/ gym setting.
